Why?

Many women report a reduction in libido as they move into their 40s and beyond. This is due to a combination of emotional factors:  life events, relationships and stress.  Declining testosterone levels can play a part and for some women, testosterone therapy can be helpful in restoring sexual happiness. 

What does my appointment include?

Your consultation will give you the information and tools to make a decision with your doctor about testosterone therapy and start treatment if appropriate. Blood tests are required before starting treatment, 4-6 weeks after starting and 6-monthly thereafter, at additional cost.
